Columbus Short has a lot of good news to share all at once – he’s getting married, and he’s going to be a father again!

Short is engaged to fiancée Aida Abramyan, whom he’s been dating on and off for a number of years. The pair are expecting their first child together, a son, the actor confirmed to ET on Sunday.

The couple is planning on getting married in January, before the baby is set to arrive. TMZ was the first to report the news.

This will be the embattled star’s fourth marriage and his third child. Short, 33, shares a son with his first wife, Brandi, who filed for divorce in 2003. In 2005, Short married Tanee McCall, and they welcomed their daughter, Ayala, in 2012. McCall filed for divorce in 2014 amid allegations of domestic violence.

Earlier this year, the choreographer allegedly married his third wife, writer Karrine Steffans. In April, Steffans was granted a temporary restraining order against Short, who would later claim that the two never wed, despite previously announcing their marriage.

Steffans also accused Short of cheating on her, which the actor denied. Short told ET at the time, “I didn’t cheat or anything of the sort… I didn’t agree with some things she is putting in her new book, and she basically told me to leave and she was done. So I left.”

In February, Short sat down with ET where he opened up about his burgeoning music career and channeling his “monumental mistakes” into his new creative endeavor. Check out the video below to hear more from the former Scandal star.
