Christie Brinkley’s Birthday Cake Has Picture of Boyfriend John Mellencamp on It

Christie Brinkley’s romance with John Mellencamp is sugary sweet.
The supermodel, who turns 62 on Tuesday, celebrated her birthday over the weekend with a dinner party at 1770 House in East Hampton, New York, which was attended by her three children and a group of friends. At the fete, her pals, whom she refers to as “the Susterhood,” presented her with a cake featuring a photo of her looking decidedly unglamorous on it. The “Uptown Girl” was rocking a white face mask. However, she was also wearing a T-shirt with an image of her musician boyfriend on it.
“My Boytaycake Rocks! Thanks to the Susterhood! #who is that masked woman? Lol! #mime,” Brinkley captioned the photo of the cake, which appeared to be some type of red velvet concoction.

The candles on the cake featured the number 10 — another apparent inside joke among the friends, who seem big on shenanigans. The women, including former Today show correspondent Jill Rappaport, also gave the Timeless Beauty author a birthday card that said, “Happy birthday you ageless b***h.” It was a photo of a flawless Brinkley next to photos of two wilder old ladies.

Brinkley’s three children — Alexa Ray Joel, Jack Brinkley-Cook, and Sailor Brinkley-Cook — could be seen in the party photos, but Mellencamp didn’t appear to be with the group. Or he’s too “Small Town” to have his image shared with his girlfriend’s 210,000 Instagram followers.

“Thanks to these gangstas for a mega rad way to kick off my next year of adventure,” Brinkey wrote of the festivities.
The blonde has been linked to the “Jack & Diane” singer since September and they went public with their romance at an art show in October. In an interview with Howard Stern the next month, Brinkley, who has been married four times, said she was “leery” to discuss the romance because, “I don’t want to jinx it.”
We don’t blame her. But this cake speaks volumes, don’t ya think?
