Chrissy Teigen Steps Out for First Time Since Pregnancy Announcement

She’s got the glow! Chrissy Teigen showed off the tiniest hint of a baby bump on Tuesday, Oct. 13, as she walked the red carpet at the Le Mer Celebration of an Icon event in Hollywood — her first public outing since her pregnancy announcement.

The 29-year-old looked stunning in her full length white dress, complete with a zip which ran down the front, and was grinning widely as she posed for photographers, giving them a side shot to show off her tiny pregnancy curves.
Teigen, who turned up very late to the event, was smiling from ear to ear as she rushed up the carpet to get into the party. “She thanked people when people said she looked pretty,” an eyewitness tells Us Weekly.

And the mom-to-be has every reason to smile. She and husband John Legend’s announcement that they were expecting a baby on Monday, Oct. 12, follows a long struggle to conceive.

“John and I have been going through this for years,” the FABLife co-host revealed recently. “It’s something that has been a part of our lives and our friends have known,” she added, of their fertility issues. “So it’s nice to have all my social media friends know and have them share their stories too.”

And the couple’s happiness is all the more exciting as a result. “As many of you know, we’ve been trying to have a baby for a while now,” she captioned her pregnancy announcement photo on Instagram. “It hasn’t been easy, but we kept trying because we can’t wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We’re so excited it’s finally happening.”
