Celebs React to Donald Trump’s Presidential Victory

The majority of Hollywood was with Her, but that wasn’t enough to put Hillary Clinton in the White House. And to say the entertainment community is disappointed that Donald Trump has been elected 45th president of the United States would be an understatement.

Sure, a few celebs such as Stephen Baldwin and Kirstie Alley were thrilled about Trump’s victory.

But most were having trouble grasping the concept that The Apprentice star will be the new leader of the free world. Clinton supporters flocked to Twitter and Instagram to voice their feelings regarding Campaign 2016. Some were angry, some were hopeful, and some did their best to find a little (dark) humor in the situation.

(And this was one of the least offensive / concerning comments of our new president). Well done, voters who didn't do any homework but only voted a recognizable name. And shame on the Hillary supporters who thought we had it in the bag and didn't go to the polls. I am heartbroken and extremely concerned for our country's future. Unfollow me if you feel differently. That's the very last of my concerns right now.

I totally understand why this country has voted the way it has. The people are not happy. I respect that. Let's all please come together and influence this new President in a positive way. The country is speaking. Let's respect that and try to work together. I will try to influence this new President as much as I can and support them as much as I can. I pray that they believe in equality. I pray that they make this country a place my future children with gay parents can feel safe and thrive. Let us all try to understand why this country is upset. Let's please come together and love one another. We might not agree with everything a candidate supports, but We The People can still make our voices heard and guide this new President in the right direction. We still live in the greatest country in the world. Don't forget that! We are great and we will continue to get better!! #StrongerTogether

i'm not coming from a hateful place, and i don't hate you if you voted for trump (or 3rd party because you knew they had no chance don't play dumb), but i would like to point out that if you did, you not only voted against my family, my female friends, my brethren in the lgbtq+ community, me, and other families of different races, you also used your vote to throw our rights away.

I burst into tears when I saw this graphic. It's the millennial vote. My 4 year old asked me: Are you crying because Donald Trump is President? And I answered: I'm crying because there's so much hope in the world. Thank you, young people for giving me that feeling. You are the future and your voice matters. Keep at it. @hillaryclinton won the popular vote. More people signed up for her vision of America. Remind everyone of this fact. Love to all.
