You Butter Believe This Justin Trudeau Sculpture
While the president of the United States can't help himself from staring into a solar eclipse, the prime minister of Canada is in the news for... a butter sculpture? Yes, Justin Trudeau has recently received the honor of a larger-than-life butter sculpture of himself, flanked by two baby pandas.
The photo being referenced in the sculpture was taken in 2016, and features the PM welcoming baby pandas Jia Panpan and Jia Yueyue to the Toronto Zoo. It's already pretty amazing on its own:

But the Canadian National Exhibition, an annual expo of Canadian greatness, decided to upgrade that original image in a dairy-ing way. (Sorry.) The results are pretty incredible:

As the Cut points out, these butter sculptures are a regular feature of the "the EX," but it's their choice of photo that's so charming/bizarre. Perhaps next year the butter artist might try their hand at another famous Canadian icon?
