Bristol Palin Reveals She Took Her Son Tripp Shooting in Instagram Post: 'Teaching Them Young'

Bristol Palin is a firm believer in her second amendment right.

On Friday, the mother of two took to Instagram revealing that she takes her son Tripp, 7, shooting.

"#trapper #safetyfirst #teachingthemyoung," Palin, 25, captioned the photo.

In the snap Bristol stands behind Tripp in a woodsy area, as he aims a small caliber gun. The pair also took proper safety measures; both sporting protective eyewear and headphones.

Palin's post comes just days after her husband Dakota Meyer, 28, posted his own firearm-themed photo.

In a Tuesday Instagram post, the military veteran explained why carrying a weapon is so important to him. In the snap, his weapon sits on a countertop next to his 7-month-old daughter with Palin, Sailor Grace, while he attaches his holster.

"Carrying has always been important to me for my own safety but now it is imperative because now I have someone relaying (sic) on me," Meyer wrote. "Every day, everywhere I go, every time I carry and am honors to be using the Blood Stripe holster from @gcodeholsters."
