Demi Moore’s Divorce: What’s Her Next Step?

OMG Famous

For the first time in a long time, Demi Moore is a single lady. Once the divorce goes through she'll no longer be Mrs. Ashton Kutcher, and that spells the end of a huge part of her identity: Sexy Older Woman Married To Hot Younger Man. Which begs the question: what's next for Moore?

The 49-year-old actress is certainly keeping busy with film projects. She has an indie movie, "Another Happy Day," opening today. The drama centers on a dysfunctional family reuniting for a wedding, and Moore plays the belligerent second wife of Thomas Haden Church's character. (Watch out for her violent fight scene with Ellen Barkin, who portrays his first wife.)

Besides that, Moore also stars in the Wall Street morality tale "Margin Call" with Kevin Spacey and recently directed a short film for Lifetime's "Five" series exploring the impact of breast cancer on people's lives. This spring, she'll be seen on the big screen portraying Miley Cyrus's mother in the teen drama "LOL."

She will likely spend Thanksgiving with her three daughters, Rumer, 22, Scout, 20, and Tallulah, 17. She might even rely on their father and her ex-husband, Bruce Willis, with whom she's on good terms, for moral support during this tough time. (Moore allegedly sought advice from Willis following Kutcher's cheating scandal with 22-year-old San Diego party girl Sara Leal. Willis reportedly had words with Kutcher, man-to-man. He also lent the couple his vacation home in Turks and Caicos for a last-stage effort to repair the marriage last weekend.)

Moore might -- shockingly -- keep a lower profile on Twitter, the social-networking platform where she and Kutcher frequently exchanged loving banter and racy photos of Moore in her skivvies. Well, maybe not. On Thursday, the day she announced she's divorcing Kutcher after six years of marriage, Moore tweeted a random photo of herself sporting a huge bag, sunglasses and her trusty red Kabbalah bracelet on the street. (Meanwhile, Kutcher -- now back to work on "Two and a Half Men" -- posted this message on his page: "I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail.")

No word on whether she'll change her Twitter handle from "mrskutcher" to "Demi Moore."

A source tells Us Weekly that Moore is feeling positive about life post-Kutcher: "She said (she) was going to change for the better. And (she said) that it was time for her to focus on herself again and her girls."

Ashton who?
