Could Drew Barrymore be planning for a wedding … and a baby? The newly-engaged actress and her fiancé Will Kopelman were spotted leaving a Beverly Hills doctor's office over the weekend carrying what appeared to be a sonogram. In the photo, which first appeared on TMZ, Barrymore is also clutching a red lollipop, so she must have been a good patient. Adding fuel to the fire: Barrymore's rep declined to comment on whether or not her client will soon be hearing the pitter-patter of tiny feet. The 36-year-old actress (who will turn 37 on February 22) has certainly been dressing like a mom-to-be lately. Over the past few weeks, she has been spotted out and about in loose-fitting clothes that don't cling to her midsection. At the Marni for H&M party on Friday, she wore a printed dress that was cinched at the waist, but if you look closely, you can make out a barely-there baby bump. And in some photos, the super-giddy Barrymore even pulled her black blazer around her stomach -- and attempted to cover it up by holding her clutch right in front of it.
Barrymore's desire to have a family is no secret. In 2006, she told People that she could hear the tick-tock of her biological clock. "Whether I have children or adopt, whatever form a family comes in, I would absolutely love to have it."
And if the former wild child is indeed expecting, she and Kopelman, an art consultant, are apparently easing their way into parenthood by starting out with a dog. Earlier this month, the couple -- who got engaged in January after a year of dating -- adopted an 8-week-old puppy named Oliver from a Hollywood animal shelter. "They really were very thoughtful and not impulsive about making the decision," Bark n' Bitches owner Shannon von Roemer told People at the time. "Drew, being such a huge dog fanatic, was great to Will. She really wanted him to feel it out and make the decision."
Looks like Oliver may soon have some competition!
