Those of you hoping for a Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult reunion may have to keep waiting.
After the exes were seen out to dinner together last week and then both turned up looking spiffy at the Met Gala on Monday night, rumors swirled that they could be back on. However, that doesn't seem to be the case. Not only did the 23-year-old British actor avoid JLaw at the A-list affair, according to E! News, and tell Us Weekly that they are just "friends," but he spent the day after the gala with Riley Keough, his stunning co-star from "Mad Max: Fury Road."

On Tuesday, Hoult and the 23-year-old model-actress daughter of Lisa Marie Presley were photographed leaving a Manhattan hotel together. He was stylishly dressed in a brown leather jacket and matching shoes, and she donned cuffed skinny jeans, a gray top, and high-heeled Mary Jane shoes. While he didn't seem bothered by photographers, she turned away, hiding behind her bright red locks until the duo ditched photographers.
While it is unclear whether their relationship is a romantic one, Hoult and Lawrence have been spending time together. After both scoring roles in the "Mad Max" sequel, they spent seven months filming the post-apocalyptic flick in the African country Namibia. Being in such a remote spot caused them to bond.
In an interview with Collider about the film, which also stars Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron, Hoult specifically called out Keough as well as Zoe Kravitz, saying they were "a real treat to work with. I made really good friends. It's a real life changing experience spending that much time with a group of people and being in that location."
Hoult and Keough were also together in Los Angeles last month helping her "The Runaways" co-star Kristen Stewart celebrate her 23th birthday. In photos taken on April 9, the two were side by side among the party crowd, which included Robert Pattinson and Ashley Benson. The group had dinner at Malo restaurant in the Silver Lake neighborhood of L.A. before heading to nearby No Vacancy bar to continue the festivities.
While Hoult and Keough haven't been snapped while engaged in any PDA, it would be perfectly fine if they were. His relationship with Lawrence – whom he met on the set of "X-Men: First Class" in 2010 when they played each other's love interests – ended amicably in January. (They’re reprising their roles in the sequel, "X-Men: Days of Future Past"), Meanwhile, Keough is swinging single as well after ending a brief engagement to Alex Pettyfer last year.
Do you think Nick and Riley would make a cute couple?
