Kirstie Alley has been cleaning the skeletons out of her romance closet lately. Just days after it was reported that she told Barbara Walters in an upcoming interview that John Travolta was "the greatest love of my life," she has now revealed she had similar feelings for Patrick Swayze. And just like with her "Look Who's Talking" co-star, she was married when she fell for the now-late actor when they starred together in the Civil War miniseries "North and South" in 1985.

It was love at first sight for Alley, now 61, she tells "Entertainment Tonight's" Chris Jacobs in an interview that airs on Monday night. But although she wanted to "avoid going down that road," the attraction was so intense, it was inevitable. "Both of us were married," reveals Alley, who was married to Parker Stevenson from 1983 until 1997. "We did not have an affair. But again, I think what I did was worse. Because I think when you fall in love with someone when you're married, you jeopardize your own marriage and their marriage. It's doubly bad."

It's unclear if Swayze's widow, Lisa, was aware of the relationship between her husband and Alley … because Lisa asked her to speak at his 2009 funeral.

On Friday, quotes from the "Dancing With the Stars" contestant's interview with Walters were released, including a portion about "the greatest love of my life," Travolta. "Believe me, it took everything that I had, inside, outside, whatever, to not run off and marry John and be with John for the rest of my life," she admitted. Two years later, he tied the knot with Kelly Preston. Today, the three fellow Scientologists remain good friends.
