There's been yet another bump in the road for Chris Brown and Rihanna. The controversial couple has split ... again.
In an interview on Australian radio station 2Day's "The Kyle and Jackie O Show," the "Fine China" singer, who turned 24 on Sunday, confirmed his off-again status with the Barbadian beauty while discussing his numerous birthday celebrations in Los Angeles, New York, and Las Vegas.
Asked how Rihanna, 25, would factor in to his party plans, Brown replied, "Imma do it solo. I mean, at the end of the day, shawty doing her own thang. She on the road. It's always gonna be love. I'm a grown man. [I] just gotta fast forward."
Despite their off-again status, Brown only had kind words for Rihanna -- at least during his interview.
"I'm always gonna love that person," he said. "I can't be focused on wife-ing somebody that young. I'm young too. I can't focus on that now. I just have to step forward and be a man and be the best Chris Brown I can be instead of worrying whoever else is going to be in my side pocket."
However, Brown also let it be known that he's not exactly sitting at home pining over RiRi, whom he was convicted of assaulting in 2009. During his party week for his birthday, Brown said to he hoped to "see as many girls as possible."
One of the girls he's already seeing is his ex-girlfriend model Karrueche Tran. She was photographed arriving at Brown's party at Emerson Theater in Hollywood on Friday night. While she didn't show up on his arm -- she came with her pal Christina Milian -- she was there for the festivities.
Meanwhile, Rihanna spent the weekend in New York City. She was courtside during Saturday's Nets game at Barclay Center -- and then was back in the house that Jay-Z built on Sunday as part of her Diamonds World Tour. While she is headed to Boston on Monday to make up one of her canceled tour dates, she'll be back in the Big Apple on Tuesday for another show in Brooklyn.
