Everyone takes embarrassing pictures as kids -- especially when donning homemade Halloween costumes. But only if you become famous are you unlucky enough to have them haunt you so publicly years later. Tom Cruise, Amanda Seyfried, and James Gandolfini know exactly what that's like. They're three stars whose snapshots in zany getups have resurfaced to show us their spooky -- or in this case, just kooky -- sides. Check them out courtesy of Snakkle.com!
Oddly enough, the "Mission: Impossible" star's "Risky Business" uniform of socks, a button-down shirt, and sunglasses is a popular costume these days. Somehow, however, I don't think this version of Raggedy Ann that Tom, 49, donned in his senior year at Glen Ridge High School in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, would necessarily catch on.
The now-25-year-old looks so sweet! This pic of Amanda Seyfried -- dressed very similar to "Pollyanna" in the 1960 Disney movie in this photo from her yearbook for a school in Allentown, Pennsylvania -- came years before her 2011 starring role as "Red Riding Hood."
Do you think Tony Soprano would approve of this look? Fuhgettabout it! Two decades before he became a star on TV's "The Sopranos" in 1999, the actor, now 50, wore a frock and a handkerchief during his senior year at Park Ridge High School in Park Ridge, New Jersey.
