Forget St. Tropez! The new hot spot for celebs to visit in the summertime is the Italian Riviera. Heidi Klum and her family were photographed in Sardinia's Porto Cervo, where the 38-year-old supermodel got to flaunt her taut bod in a pink-and-white gingham bikini while splashing around in the water with her kids Leni, 7, Henry, 5, Johan, 5, and Lou, 21 months. (Seriously, can you believe Heidi has given birth to four children?!)
While in Sardinia -- the second largest island in the Mediterranean Sea -- Heidi and her hubby Seal ran into musicians Macy Gray and Craig David and posted photos of their two encounters on Twitter. The "Project Runway" host was also snapped going topless at the beach. While the shots are a little too risque for omg! to post, who can blame Heidi for not wanting tan lines?
At the launch party for her Hamptons Magazine cover in June, the German-born beauty admitted to Popeater.com that she is a sun worshipper. "I love tanning my body and I don't love tan lines necessarily," she shared. "I don't think too much about what other people think or if they think this woman is too old to wear just a bikini or a bikini bottom. I come from Europe, so I'm not American. It is very different here than it is in German[y] or Italy. I grew up with men wearing Speedos on the beach and topless women on the beach at any age."
What do you think? Are topless beaches crude ... or are Americans simply prudes?
