My favorite Hollywood dad, Ben Affleck, was out in Santa Monica, California, picking up his little girl Violet from school the other day. Mom Jennifer Garner must have been at home taking care of the couple's newborn daughter Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck, who was born January 6.
In spite of the new baby, Violet is clearly still the apple of her father's eye. The adorable 3-year-old, wearing a red t-shirt that says "Big Sister," got a lift to the car from her doting dad.
Obviously, the Affleck-Garners are fond of floral monikers since they named their first daughter Violet and gave their newborn Rose as a second name. But what's with Seraphina? According to US Weekly, it's a form of Seraphim, one of the highest order of angels. People magazine's research found that the Hebrew origin of the name means "fiery ones." I think it's pretty, but is it too unique? Perhaps they'll decide to call her Sera, which at least sounds like the more traditional Sarah. What do you think?
