Perhaps we can expect a new Taylor Swift song about moving on? The singer/songwriter, who often writes about her own life, appears to have overcome the incident heard around the world when rapper Kanye West confronted her onstage as she won Best Female Video at the 2009 MTV VMAs. He thought Beyonce's "Single Ladies" clip should have won instead, and he might have had a point if he hadn't chosen such an inopportune time to express it. Regardless, the unscripted moment instantly spawned a catchphrase ("I'mma let you finish.."), countless headlines prompting Kanye to apologize, and of course a Swift-penned ballad called "Innocent" in which she claimed to have forgiven West.
However, only now do we know the 22-year-old really has let bygones be bygones. Taylor, a budding fashionista, posed in designs by Lanvin, Miu Miu, and -- yep! -- Kanye West himself during a photo shoot for the latest edition of Australian Harper's Bazaar. "If this isn't a true act of forgiveness we don't know what is. Taylor Swift wears Kanye West in our April issue," the magazine tweeted.
No word yet on Kanye's response, but, as usual, I'm sure he'll have something to say.
