Why Carrie Underwood Is Refreshingly Down-to-Earth

Carrie Underwood might be a bonda fide superstar, but that doesn't mean she's a diva!

The 30-year-old songstress is on the cover of Redbook magazine's December 2013 issue and reveals just how much of a down-to-earth country cutie she really is — especially when it comes to her laundry.

"I do not like people touching my underwear. That's just weird! I travel with a washer and dryer and I like cooking on the bus too," she told the mag.

Carrie is certainly no stranger to showing how relatable she is, telling Glamour magazine in June 2012 that she and her hockey-player hubby, Mike Fisher, live very simple lives, given their celebrity status, saying, "We don't have a bowling alley in our basement. We don't have houses on the beach and one in New York and one in L.A. I have a three-year-old Ford Escape Hybrid. We don't care about stuff like that."

Not only does the blond beauty not care about the material things, but she also doesn't take herself too seriously.

She tweeted a picture on Monday from an ad she found particularly amusing.
