Family woes have not kept Prince Jackson from being a regular 16-year-old — albeit one with really good connections.
As his younger sister recovers from a suicide attempt on June 5 at UCLA Medical Center in L.A., the son of Michael Jackson has been spotted out and about several times.
On Tuesday, he had girlfriend Remi Alfalah on his arm for the premiere of the new season of "True Blood" at the Arclight Cinemas in Hollywood. Prince kept things casual in jeans, while his date rocked a fancier LBD.
He was also seen shopping with Remi at Barneys New York on Friday and taking in a mixed martial arts event at UCLA's Pauley Pavillion — on the same campus where Paris is located — on Sunday afternoon.
The teen did take time to visit Paris at the hospital last week, even though in the weeks leading up to Paris's suicide attempt, the siblings had reportedly argued over her recent desire to spend time with their mother, Debbie Rowe.
Prince, Paris, and the entire the Jackson clan have had a particularly trying time recently.
Besides the situation with Paris, they've dealt with the start of the wrongful death lawsuit that Prince and Paris's grandmother, Katherine Jackson, has brought against concert promoter AEG Live. The Jackson matriarch claims that the company didn't properly investigate Dr. Conrad Murray, who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter because of the drugs he administered that caused Michael's death in 2009. Both Prince and Paris are expected to testify in the case.
On top of that, the family will be commemorating the fourth anniversary of MJ's death on June 25.
They must feel like the oldest teenagers ever.
