We now know Tom Hardy's answer to the question: Boxers or briefs?

The actor recently stripped down to his undies to shoot a new ad for Stand Up to Cancer. Wearing a robe (and not much else) Hardy, 36, could be seen sprinting down the street with cameras rolling all around him.
His many tattoos — which some fans may not have even realized he has — were also clearly on display. Though Hardy is often shirtless in movies from "The Dark Knight Rises" to "Warrior," he usually has to cover up his body art for big screen roles.
While Tom's tattoo on his right pec — comedy and tragedy masks with "Smile Now Cry Later" written around them — isn't new, it looks like he has some fresh ink across his chest.

"Every tattoo I have means something to me. Each one is something that I've been through in my life or I've done or I've been," he told the Globe and Mail in 2010. "So I map that out on me, where I've been and where I'm going."
It was rumored on Monday that the English actor is reportedly in talks to play twin gangsters in "Legend," which will be directed by "L.A. Confidential" writer Brian Helgeland.
Here's hoping that film has a few shirtless scenes. Double the Tom Hardy skin? That's definitely a movie we'd go and see.
