Will Ferrell is no stranger to the sports-themed comedy: he's played a soccer coach, basketball pro, and even a NASCAR driver.
But its the seminal "Blades of Glory" that saw Will as a figure skater – a role so iconic it landed him a cameo on Jay-Z and Kanye West's hit "... In Paris."
omg! ran into Ferrell at Audi's pre-Super Bowl soiree on Friday night and, given the looming figure of Beyonce over the big game, wondered if he would use the opportunity to try for another collaboration with Jay?
"Jay-Z has to reach out," Ferrell deadpanned at the party held at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art in New Orleans.
Good to know. We also pressed Ferrell – who attended the bash with wife Viveca Paulin – for his thoughts on Beyonce's pending half time show.
"She said she'd be singing live, right?" he posed. Yes, Will.
"Then I'm absolutely behind her."
The couple mingled with folks like Jeremy Renner and Anna Faris, officially throwing their support behind the San Francisco 49ers while a DJ spun before an intimate performance from Santigold.
