The swatters are at it again.
TMZ reported Wednesday that Ryan Seacrest is the latest victim in the trend of swatting, or calling 911 for help when no assistance is needed as some sort of prank. The incident happened on the same day that the "American Idol" host chatted with Russell Brand about the comedian's home being swatted on Monday.
"I think if I were a teenager, I'd definitely do it," Brand admitted when he called into Seacrest's L.A. morning radio show.
Brand, who wasn't home at the time when officers arrived, joked about how little the prank bothered him.
"If all swatting attacks are this unnoticeable, I'm ready for war," Brand said. "I didn't even know it had happened. I still don't know what a swatting attack is!"
He cracked that there are "always some helicopters and police at my house anyway because of my involvement in other activities, so I didn't notice any additional ones."
Obviously, the swatters thought it would be hilarious to hit Seacrest's home. They've already sent police rushing to the residences of Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Selena Gomez, and many, more more. Who do you think they'll hit next?
