The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" is on hiatus, but the soap opera of Kenya Moore's life continues.
On Thursday, the former Miss USA called into "The Wendy Williams Show" to talk about being evicted from her residence in Roswell, Georgia, outside Atlanta.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that a Fulton County judge ruled against Moore, and in favor of her landlord, Conya Dillon, on Tuesday, after neither Moore nor her lawyer appeared in court. Dillon had claimed that the 42-year-old reality star didn't pay $848 of the $3,999 she pays each month in rent.
When Moore spoke with Williams via phone — true to "Housewife" form — she brought the drama.
"First of all, we never got notice of court date, so that's going to be overturned and we will have another court date," Moore said defiantly. "It isn't over until the fat lady sings."
"Secondly," she added, "This is absolutely absurd. I've paid this woman nearly $52,000 in rent and she has a $6,000 security deposit of mine. I have paid her May rent and paid her June, and my lease is up in three weeks. So this whole thing is absolutely ridiculous."
Moore was sassy as usual when she explained her theory of why she's on the landlady's bad side.
"I don't know if it's necessarily so personal, but the key is Wendy — now, it gets a little complicated — but she's taking her ex-husband back to court, and I can't help it if I live a fabulous life and she can no longer afford to be in the house."
Moore had claimed in a countersuit that Dillon entered the home without permission, and she reiterated her claim to Williams.
"When I didn't move out when she wanted me to, because she has to give me 60-day notice, I have no problem. I don't want to be anywhere where I'm not wanted. I can find another house. Done," Moore said. "And it was just like every day she was coming in and out of the house. It has gotten really crazy. I almost had to get a restraining order against her, that's how scared I was, to where we had to put up cameras."
After dishing about her living situation, Moore also offered two tidbits to fans of her Bravo show.
One, she claimed that she is invited to fellow "Housewives" star NeNe Leakes's nuptials planned for the weekend, despite the fact that the two have clashed before.
And two, she did the verbal equivalent of turning up her nose when Williams asked whether "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" star Joseline Hernandez will co-star in the upcoming season of her show.
"I highly doubt it!" she laughed. "I don't think there's any truth to that rumor. We're a different show."
Yep, those "Housewives" are way too classy for just anyone to join!
