Justin Bieber didn't seem to have a care in the world in those new shirtless party pics from Atlanta, but his troubles are far from over.
New surveillance video of his Miami Beach arrest has been released by authorities. In it, the 19-year-old is seen being frisked by police officers while being booked for driving under the influence of marijuana and prescription pills, resisting arrest, and driving with an invalid license after allegedly drag racing with his friend Khalil Sharief on Jan. 23.
Fans of the Canadian crooner are used to seeing him singing in his videos, but this one shows him removing his shoes, socks, and a hoodie for a police officer. He them was patted down.
The footage shows Bieber wasn't cuffed during the booking and, surprisingly, was just kind of wandering around the room.
The star entered a not guilty plea in the case and a trial date in the case has been set for March 3.
Meanwhile, Biebs is still potentially facing felony charges for his egg caper in his Los Angeles neighborhood. L.A. County Sheriff’s Department detectives presented the vandalism investigation to the L.A County District Attorney’s Office on Thursday for consideration for criminal filing.
Yahoo has also learned that the Sheriff’s Department did recommend a felony vandalism charge — because the damage to Bieber's Calabasas, California, neighbor's home was in excess of $20,000. Now, the D.A. will review the case and decide whether to file the case as a felony or misdemeanor, or to reject it completely. A decision will be made in the coming weeks.
Rounding out his trifecta of troubles, Bieber also has a court appearance in Toronto on March 10 to answer to charges that he assaulted a limo driver in December.
If you thought all the drama would encourage Bieber to lie low for a while, you're incorrect. He continues his traveling tour, most recently stopping in Atlanta to attend a party hosted by Diddy at a nightclub. He seemed a little out of place partying with the older crowd — Diddy is 44 — though maybe it was just because Bieber randomly had his shirt off next to all clothed people. The "Boyfriend" singer was accompanied by his Florida-based lady friend Chantel Jeffries.
Bieber's previous trip on a chartered plane from Canada to New Jersey for the Super Bowl festivities made headlines because his group reportedly harassed the flight crew and smoked pot the whole time. He was accompanied by his father, Jeremy Bieber, on that flight.
