Miley Cyrus's spent Father's Day weekend … with her mother.
Just days after her parents, Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus, announced that they are filing for divorce (for the second time), the 20-year-old singer enjoyed some special bonding time with her mother and little sister, which they documented thoroughly on Twitter.
It was certainly a statement of girl power when Miley tweeted out a photo of the trio in the backseat of a car on Saturday, captioning it, "The baddest b***hes in the WORLD."
That was one of several family pix the Cyrus ladies shared from their jaunt to Chicago for the "We Can't Stop" crooner's appearance at the B96 Pepsi Sumer Bash on Saturday. Others included a snapshot of Miley ― in her favorite item of clothing, a jumpsuit ― with Tish backstage at the show, which she captioned with lots of hearts. Tish also posted a photo of her two daughters, featuring Noah, 13, wearing a "M. Cyrus" jersey.
While it was certainly a girls' weekend, Miley didn't forget about dear old dad. Last week, following the divorce announcement, there appeared to be strained relations between them. "@billyraycyrus since your text and email obviously aren't working would you like to talk like this?" she wrote in what seemed like a bid to get his attention.
But on Sunday, she posted a more cordial message for her pops ― though not exactly an intimate one, sharing it with her more than 12 million followers.
"Happy Daddy Day @billyraycyrus ❤," she wrote.
But who knows ― maybe she also sent him a Hallmark card.
