Liam Hemsworth is moving on from Miley Cyrus — at lightning speed.
Just one day after the Australian hunk, 23, confirmed that his engagement to the twerking queen was off, he was spotted playing kissy face with another woman.
The "Hunger Games" actor was photographed smooching Eiza González on Tuesday — less than 24 hours after reps for Hemsworth confirmed he is single again. And what a kiss! The heartthrob had the Mexican actress-singer pulled closely to him as he planted one on her lips, resting his hands on her backside.
The photos were taken outside González's Beverly Hills apartment complex. Hemsworth arrived at her doorstep in the afternoon carrying a bag. The visit was brief, but the kiss with the pretty blonde, who had on short shorts and an orange sports bra-like top, didn't appear to be.
The duo was first spotted over the weekend in Las Vegas, where Hemsworth attended the Floyd Mayweather vs. Canelo Alvarez boxing match on Saturday. That night, they were photographed together in a VIP section at the Wynn Resort nightclub XS looking cozy. González was wearing a body-hugging coral strapless dress, and the "Paranoia" star was thisclose to her as they talked.
They were also spotted together on Monday in Los Angeles.
González, who reportedly ended a two-year relationship of her own earlier in the summer, just relocated to L.A. to chase her acting dreams. While she's been in the spotlight in Mexico since she was just 16, when she started appearing in a soap opera, she wants to cross over to American films. And whether she has Hemsworth to thank or not, the 23-year-old is quickly finding success.
On Wednesday — with her name trending all over the Internet thanks to this budding romance — it was announced she was cast in the upcoming comedy "All Hail the Squash Blossom Queen." The film, which starts shooting in April, also stars "Harry Potter" alum Bonnie Wright and "Shameless" star Cameron Monaghan, who will be her love interest.
Interestingly enough, the movie may shoot in Georgia, which is where Hemsworth will be working on "Mockingjay."
However, it remains to be seen whether this is a brief dalliance or a longer romance. After all, Hemsworth has already left town, catching a flight out of Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday. Meanwhile, González was expected in her native Mexico the same day to promote the DVD release of the Spanish version of Disney's "The Croods," for which she voiced the character of Eep.
Who knows? Maybe one of her next roles will be playing part of a hot Hollywood couple.
