UPDATE: On Wednesday afternoon, Miley Cyrus tweeted:

Another day, another smoking allegation against Miley Cyrus. This time, the former Disney Channel star is saying in no uncertain terms that the photo in question is not hers.

An Instagram account going by “mileyxxcyrus” posted this photo of an obscured face smoking what looks like a blunt yesterday with the caption “High as f**k #.”

“Miley Ray Cyrus im a dime. best top of the line. cute face slim waste with a BIG behind.” the account description reads. The account is littered with pics of the young singer, many of which are pics she has actually posted via Twitter.
Miley, however, point out on her very Verified Twitter account that she doesn’t even have an Instagram account.

Why is everybody trippin. My timeline is blowing up. Everything's all good in my life just in a creative space right now.

Seems like a pretty clear refutation to us! Still, not every media outlet reported that the pic was fake. One element of the pic that may have made some folks think the image was legit was a “marriage equality” tattoo on the subject’s ring finger, which matches one that Miley has.

Of course, who can forget Miley’s very real salvia-smoking scandal of 2010?

But, since then, the singer hasn’t exactly been spiraling out of control, like some predicted she might. In fact, the craziest thing we’ve witnessed from her lately is simply her turning the cameras back on the paparazzi.

What do you think? Is the above pic fake, as Miley insists? Or legit? Sound off and vote, below.
