Sexy is as sexy does, just ask Susan Sarandon. The 66-year-old actress turned heads earlier this week when she showed up in a clingy, low-cut number at a luncheon to support the much-buzzed-about documentary "20 Feet From Stardom." Though the dress left little to the imagination, its brightly colored floral pattern kept it from turning too vampy for a daytime soiree.
In fact, fitted, floral-patterned dresses seemed to be ensemble of choice for nearly all of the famous faces who stopped by the event. Bernadette Peters flashed some cleavage herself in a daring rose-printed dress, complete with a black belt that showcased her tiny waistline. The 65-year-old Broadway vet completed her look with her signature red curls and flawless porcelain skin.

One attendee who apparently didn't get the garden-party dress memo was 67-year-old Bette Midler, who stunned in a bold, graphic black-and-white pantsuit with a sheer, lacy top beneath.
All three stars looked like they were having a grand ol' time as they posed for photos alongside some of the singers from the film including Lisa Fischer and Darlene Love (who also rocked a flattering floral frock).
And while you may love or hate Susan's dress, you have to admit, every one of these women looks good … for any age.
