Kristen Stewart's latest movie role has her shaking in her boots! The 23-year-old actress has signed on to star in "Equals," a futuristic love story based on George Orwell's novel "1984."
The "Twilight" star opened up about her nerves during a recent interview, telling the Associated Press, "I can't believe I agreed to do it." She added, "I'm terrified of it. Though it's a movie with a really basic concept, it's overtly ambitious. ... It's a love story of epic, epic, epic proportion, I'm scared."
The flick, which they'll begin filming later this year, is an updated version of the 1956 adaptation of the classic book about rebellion in a repressed futuristic society. The film's director, Drake Doremus, told AP,"It's about love in a world where love really doesn't exist anymore."
Kristen will play the lead alongside Jennifer Lawrence's on-again, off-again boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult. But the brunette beauty wasn't the director's first choice for the part. In fact, J.Law was offered the role, but she turned it down, saying she couldn't see herself playing the part.
