Kristen Stewart has embraced the Hollywood norm of wearing high-end fashion on the red carpet, but she's still a rebel at heart.
The "Twilight" star showed off her tomboy side on Wednesday when she wore a plain white T-shirt, rolled-up jeans, and her beloved Chuck Taylors as she took out the trash at her home in the hipster Los Feliz neighborhood of L.A. Although it almost certainly was due to her nasty smoking habit and unintentional, Stewart, with a cigarette tucked between her lips, channeled James Dean in the iconic movie "Rebel Without a Cause."

The 23-year-old's next projects are dramedy "The Big Shoe" with Elizabeth Banks and the sequel to the big-budget fantasy "Snow White and the Huntsman." However, Robert Pattinson's best girl will not be appearing in the movie "Focus."
On Wednesday, Variety reported that Stewart has dropped out of the rom-com about an inexperienced female con artist and a more seasoned male con artist, which is written and directed by the team behind "Crazy, Stupid, Love." Stewart had planned to star alongside 40-year-old Ben Affleck, but he dropped out of the film due to scheduling conflicts. Though rumor has it that she thought Will Smith, 44, who's now in final talks to star in the project, was too much older to play her leading man. (However, E! News claims that Stewart "dropped out of the project months ago.")
Interestingly, New York Magazine's Vulture blog analyzed some of the big films from 10 of Hollywood's male, middle-age A-listers, such as Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Denzel Washington, and Tom Cruise, and confirmed what audiences have always known to be true -- as leading men age, their love interests do not.
Just to be clear: Even the younger Affleck was finishing high school when Stewart was born!
