A year and a half ago Kim Kardashian’s life looked rather different than it does today. The reality star was engaged to NBA star Kris Humphries and living in her gated Beverly Hills estate.
Now that she’s had her TV wedding, split from the groom after a couple of months of marriage, is still embroiled in a messy divorce, has taken up with rapper Kanye West, and is expecting her first child, it’s no surprise that Kardashian has changed up her living situation, too. After buying an $11 million Bel Air mansion with West in December, it’s now been reported that the 32-year-old has gotten rid of her previous digs.
Details of the sale have been shrouded in mystery. According to real estate blog Trulia Luxe Living, the property was never actually listed, but was purchased for an undisclosed price by a buyer who took ownership of the 5-bedroom, 4.5-bath gated estate as part of an LLC.
The home has been featured multiple times on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” but some real drama occurred when the cameras weren’t rolling last year. According to TMZ, a man showed up at the house late at night with luggage, buzzed the intercom, and claimed Kardashian had flown him in to stay with her. After he refused to leave the police were called and the socialite later announced she would have to move for her own safety.
The 4,000-square-foot Tuscan-style abode she’s unloaded features a media room, hardwood floors, intricate ironwork, and a “resort-like yard” complete with pool, hot tub, waterfall, and an outdoor living and dining room.
But on to bigger and better things, right? Her new home with West is about as over-the-top as they get and includes a movie theater, gym, hair and makeup salon, basketball court, and two pools. It’s also more than three times the size of her bachelorette pad and totals a whopping 14,000 square feet. That’s plenty of room to raise her little one … if she can only find the nursery.
