Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Cause Airport Drama

Although Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have racked up a lot of frequent flyer miles under their pricey belts, they aren't entitled to special treatment at the airport.

An American Airlines employee – and apparent "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" fan" – is in hot water for allowing the star couple to evade a security checkpoint at New York’s JFK airport.

The incident occurred Tuesday when the mom-to-be and her rapper boyfriend, who were returning from their jaunt to Brazil, touched down in the Big Apple on the way home to Los Angeles. A starstruck airport employee allowed the duo to bypass a security checkpoint so that they could quickly catch their connecting flight – a major no-no even for someone carrying the second most anticipated celebrity baby of the year.

"An airline employee escorted the two travelers through a non-public area in order to provide expedited access to their domestic flight," a TSA spokesman said, according to New York's Daily News.

The spokesperson went on to say that the employee was to blame – not Kardashian, 32, and West, 35 – although we aren't sure their fellow passengers had the same thought on the matter. While they made their connection to LAX, TSA boarded the plane and forced the couple to disembark and be screened privately, delaying the flight for an hour.

Although there is now a government investigation into the matter, Kardashian and West didn’t seem too hung up on the drama upon returning home.

“I love being in LA,” the reality TV star tweeted Wednesday after arriving home. “Good workout, eating healthy... off to a photo shoot with @KourtneyKardash &@KhloeKardashian. Have a great day everyone!”

And Wednesday night the star couple appeared happy as they attended the Topshop party, where omg! was on the scene. Kardashian decorated her baby bump in feathers for the night out – and didn’t seem to have a care in the world… despite ruffling some other feathers a day earlier.
