Fresh off a tour of Madagascar with UNICEF, singer Katy Perry was spotted back in Los Angeles on Wednesday continuing her good deed spree -- this time at a chic cocktail party and fundraiser.

Perry showed up to the Los Angeles office of J.J. Abrams's production company Bad Robot, where the director hosted a shopping and mingling event with label Coach in support of the Children's Defense Fund.
Arriving solo at the soiree, Perry sported a black cocktail frock with an embellished floral print-and-lace detail. She immediately greeted her stylist Johnny Wujek, who served as DJ for the fete.
Though Katy's single these days (she's only been spotted out a handful of times since her split with John Mayer), she wasn't short on company.
Perry chatted up the likes of Conan O'Brien and his wife Liza, Abrams's wife Katie McGrath, and actor Orlando Bloom.
Other notables in attendance included Don Draper's on-screen ex January Jones and his season six lover Linda Cardellini, Chris Pine, Joe Manganiello, Kate Mara, Paula Patton, Chloe Sevigny, and Hailee Steinfeld.
The Children's Defense Fund is a non-profit that advocates for policy and programs for children nationwide, across socioeconomic lines. Coach offered a canvas tote and two-tone clutch at the event, available in stores come May, with 100% of the proceeds going to the CDF.
