The world has been waiting with bated breath for Jennifer Aniston to walk down the aisle again, but according to a new report, we may all have to wait a little longer.
A source tells People magazine that "wedding talk has stopped" between Aniston and her fiancé of 10 months, Justin Theroux. "At the moment there is no wedding date."
"There are other priorities [besides marriage]," claims another source that knows the couple professionally.
Aniston, 44, will be working on various films this summer and will also embark on a promotional tour for "We're the Millers," which is due out in August. Meanwhile, it was just announced Theroux, 41, has been cast in Damon Lindelof’s HBO pilot “The Leftovers.”
With packed schedules, "they need to figure out a way to create a life that makes them both happy," continues People's source, who added, "Jen can't wait to be [Justin's] wife."
However, regarding this latest report, a rep for Aniston isn't commenting, telling omg!: "We have long stopped responding to the endless rumors about Jennifer's personal life. It serves no purpose because the rumors keep coming regardless of what we say."
Aniston and Theroux met on the set of their film "Wanderlust" and began dating in May 2011. He popped the question in August 2012.
Another wrench in their previous plans to marry in the spring, People reports, is the redesign timeline for the couple's $21 million estate in L.A.'s Bel Air neighborhood, which took longer than expected.
And this certainly isn't the first report that has circulated claiming that Aniston and Theroux have put their wedding on hold.
In May, Us Weekly Aniston decided to delay her wedding; however, sources alleged the reasoning behind the decision was so that it wouldn't be associated with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's big day, which according to Us Weekly, was also supposedly imminent.
However, People's latest report may come as a surprise since the magazine claimed in late February wedding bands were designed, Aniston was close to picking her dress, and the couple set a date for spring.
"It will be a small affair with their closest friends," a source close to Aniston told the magazine at the time, adding: “[Jen] is crazy about Justin and can’t wait to be his wife.”
So, what's going on with all this back and forth?
Well, here's what we're hearing …
A source close to the couple also cautions that this latest report from People is not entirely true.
"Wedding talk hasn't stopped," an insider tells omg!. "In fact, very recently, a discussion took place about possibly having a small ceremony at their new house this summer." The same source does confirm that Aniston and Theroux's busy schedules have made nailing down a date difficult.
However, a source says not to read too much into all this tabloid talk (Jen and Justin certainly don't). "They are solid" an insider tells omg!, adding that just because there hasn't been some big lavish wedding doesn't mean there is trouble in their relationship.
"They keep their circle tight. When it happens I bet it will take the press by surprise," adds a source.
