Jason and Molly Mesnick, one of the few successful couples spawned by "The Bachelor," have done some spawning of their own.
Their daughter, Riley Anne Mesnick, was born Thursday afternoon in Seattle, measuring 18 3/4 inches and weighing 6 pounds 8 ounces, according to People.
The proud papa revealed that he'd followed a friend's advice and tried to induce labor by massaging the feet of his 28-year-old missus.
"I did it last night for about three minutes and Molly woke me up at about three this morning, after she'd been up for about an hour and a half, so maybe it does work?" the 36-year-old told the magazine.
Although baby Riley is the first for the couple, Jason has an 8-year-old son, Ty, from his first marriage who lives with them. Ty, who was featured on "The Bachelorette" and "The Bachelor" when his dad competed on the shows in 2009 and 2010, couldn't be happier about becoming a big brother, the elder Mesnick said.
"Ty has been asking for a sibling for so long," he shared. "He was here earlier holding her and kissing her and it was really, really cute. We're so happy."
