If Tony Stark has taught us anything, it's that smart guys work hard and play hard, so naturally, the stars of "Iron Man 3" marked their Hollywood premiere with a Marvel-worthy after party.

Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Sir Ben Kingsley, and Rebecca Hall dutifully assembled before the El Capitan theater on Wednesday to celebrate the third film in the blockbuster franchise. Once credits rolled, invited guests piled into the waiting Hard Rock Cafe on Hollywood Blvd., where Red Bull cocktails and gnosh welcomed guests who got to screen director Shane Black's addition to the "Iron" family.

Jon Favreau, who plays Happy Hogan and serves as executive producer on the third film after helming the first two, was the first to mingle among execs and fans.

RDJ arrived on Favreau's heels smiling wide with wife and producer Susan in tow. After his arrival at the premiere in a cherry red Audi R8 Spyder, what could be better?

Fans like Maria Shriver chatted up film star Don Cheadle, while Zachary Levi, who's best known for his role as the title character on TV's "Chuck" but will soon be joining the Marvel universe in "Thor: The Dark World," surveyed the crowd with a male pal.

Unfortunately, while omg! was roving inside, we weren't able to spot Paltrow and that super-revealing dress of hers. Perhaps she called it an early night.

Hysteria died out close to midnight for folks inside and outside the divide. After all, we're all just mortals in the Marvel Universe.
