Hollywood’s Love Triangles

Some of the hottest love triangles in history involve Hollywood stars. Simon Cowell found himself at the center of a media firestorm back in July when news leaked that his friend's estranged wife, Lauren Silverman, was expecting his baby. At the time, the 36-year-old socialite was still married to New York real estate tycoon Andrew Silverman. Days after the news broke, Andrew filed for divorce from Lauren, after 10 years of marriage.

And, of course, we can't talk about love triangles without mentioning the one that may top them all in recent history ― Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, and Jennifer Aniston. When Brad and Angelina were cast together in "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" in 2004, it was the beginning of the end of Brad and Jen's five-year marriage. In April 2005, just one month after Aniston filed for divorce, photos emerged of Brad, Angelina, and her son Maddox on a beach in Kenya. In January 2006, Jolie confirmed to People magazine that she was pregnant with Brad's child.

And then there's LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian. Technically we could dub this affair a love "square." Eddie and LeAnn wed in Aprill 2001, but when they got together on the set of the Lifetime flick "Northern Lights" in 2009, LeAnn was married to Dean Sheremet and Eddie was wed to Brandi Glanville. Shortly after LeAnn and Eddie went public in August 2009, Eddie filed for divorce from Brandi, citing irreconcilable differences. On June 11, 2010, Eddie issued a statement asking his ex-wife to stop addressing his indiscretions publicly, saying, "I can't change the past and I'm truly sorry that people got hurt along the way but not everything reported in the media is reality and continuing to rehash things publicly only makes it more difficult for everyone to heal. I hope for the sake of our children we can all move forward and heal privately. I wish their mother nothing but the best."

But the drama isn't contained to Hollywood. Nashville has its share of love triangles, too. Country stars Jana Kramer and Brantley Gilbert were engaged for seven months but broke things off in August 2013. Shortly after, rumors started circulating that Jana and Scott Eastwood were an item. They've both denied it, but it's certain they would be one hot couple.
