Katie Couric is making her own headlines this weekend.
The veteran journalist and Yahoo News Global Anchor, 57, said "I do" to New York City financier John Molner, 51, at her home in East Hampton, New York, on Saturday, her rep confirms to Yahoo.
The couple was surrounded by 50 friends and family at their intimate nuptials, held in the backyard of Couric's classic Hamptons abode. The ceremony was officiated by their friend John Ellis, and featured readings by Molner's children, Allie and Henry, as well as Couric's daughters Ellie, 22, and Carrie, 18, reports People. The groom's nieces and nephews served as flower girls and ring bearers.
The bride was stunning in an ivory crystal beaded and embroidered Chantilly lace halter gown designed by Carmen Marc Valvo that she'd just decided on one week before the nuptials.
Couric's country home, which she purchased in 2011, provided the perfect backdrop for their wedding soiree. Leading up to the nuptials, Katie revealed that she had been busy prepping the space for the big day.
One week before the ceremony, she posted a photo on Instagram, which showcased her gorgeous garden filled with peonies and gardenias. "The garden is ready for the big day one week from today! (Gulp!)" she captioned the pic.

Fortunately, everything went off without a hitch. Following the ceremony, Couric took to Twitter to announce she had taken the plunge.
"So excited to make my debut as Mrs. John Molner!" she tweeted along with the beautiful wedding photo above.
The former talk show host began dating Molner in April 2012 after they were introduced by a mutual friend. Molner popped the question over Labor Day weekend 2013 in the Hamptons.
This is Couric's second marriage. She was widowed in 1998 after her first husband, NBC legal analyst Jay Monahan, passed away from colon cancer. Molner's previous marriage ended in divorce.
May Katie and John live happily ever after!
