Susan Sarandon is a grandmother!
Over the weekend, her daughter, 29-year-old actress Eva Amurri Martino, welcomed her first child with husband Kyle Martino, a sports analyst for NBC. The baby girl, Marlowe Mae Martino, was born on Saturday and weighed in at a healthy 6 pounds, 11 ounces.
The new mom and dad were ecstatic to take share the news of their arrival on Twitter.

And while we have yet to hear from Sarandon, we know there's one thing her first grandchild won't be calling her: Grandma! The five-time Oscar nominee, 67, has made it clear that she has another moniker in mind.
"I borrowed this name from a very dear friend of mine who's from the South," she explained to People earlier this year. "His grandma was 'Honey.' That's what I'm experimenting with and Eva likes it, so we'll see."
Whether "Honey" sticks or not remains to be seen, but something tells us — no matter what Susan ends up getting called — this is a sweet time for the whole family, indeed.
