Is there trouble in paradise for one of young Hollywood’s most adorable A-list couples?
It doesn't look like it.
“The Amazing Spider-Man” co-stars Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield were photographed late Saturday afternoon holding hands and kissing on the streets of New York City.
Stone, 24, and Garfield, 29, dined at Bubby’s restaurant in Tribeca and tried to go incognito in winter parkas while shopping after a long day of filming.
The couple, along with “The Descendants” actress Shailene Woodley, have been busy shooting “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” in NYC. On Saturday, Stone took to Twitter to post what was only her second tweet ever.
"nawder nad islasehne tsintgi ni a erte." the actress said in a cryptic message. Well, if you unscramble that anagram, it actually reads: "Andrew and Shailene sitting in a tree."
Woodley is playing Mary Jane Watson in the sequel, the role originally made famous by Kirsten Dunst.
Stone quickly deleted her tweet causing a few websites to speculate whether it was about her relationship or the movie.
Well, don’t read too much into it. Sources assure to omg! that “Emma and Andrew are as solid as ever.”
Somehow, we have a feeling the tweet was a joke that perhaps Sony or director Marc Webb didn’t want out there (spoilers, anyone?). Sources on set tell omg! that the cast and crew are under strict orders to keep plot specifics of the sequel very hush-hush, which is standard for a big blockbuster film such as this one.
Garfield and Stone were spotted again on Sunday holding hands and laughing in between takes. We’re glad these two are doing just fine in their real-life romance!
