From heirloom tiaras to bargain bling! Kate Middleton once again proves she's the perfect people's royal.
Last night at the royal screening for "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom," the Duchess of Cambridge, 31, accessorized her chic and simple winter white Roland Mouret gown (that she first wore for a private dinner at Claridges in May 2012!) with a shimmering statement necklace that looked like rows upon rows of diamonds.
And since Middleton set the world on fire just this week when she stepped out in a tiara once belonging to Queen Elizabeth II, no one would have been surprised if the bauble was yet another piece from the royal collection of jewels.
But, ever-the down-to-earth Duchess, her neck adornment gained a new level of impressiveness when it was revealed to be a $35.90 necklace from Zara!

Like the affordable outfits she's worn in the past (who can forget the $76 Topshop polka dot number she sported while touring Warner Bros. studio in Leavesden, England, this April, or the $79 fuchsia maternity dress by Seraphine she posed for Prince George's first photos in?), the necklace completely sold out on the retailer's website within hours of Middleton giving it her blessing.
But style connoisseurs, don't despair. There have been reissues of many of the items the fashion maven has sported in the past. The jewelry she's worn from Links of London (Topaz Hope Egg earrings for her engagement photos and Effervescence Stiletto earrings for the Ark Gala) have been restocked multiple times online, Aquatalia rereleased its Rhumba boots after she wore them, and the Reiss "Nannette" dress she wore for her engagement portraits was brought back, only to sell out again … and again.
Hopefully, Zara will follow suit since the world can't wait to look like Kate!
