The big news was just a little obvious over the weekend. Barrymore, 38, wore what looked like the perfect baby bump concealer to attend the LACMA Art + Film Gala honoring Martin Scorcese and David Hockney on Saturday. Her printed floor-length gown seemed strategically roomy around the middle.

Her pregnancy news doesn't come as much of a surprise. Barrymore told Jay Leno just last month she wanted to have more kids, "very much, right away," explaining, "I grew up as an only child, and although that really works for some people … but no, I want to be the Griswolds." (Referencing the comical family from the "National Lampoon's Vacation" films.) "I want the kids in the back, rolling their eyes at mom and dad. I want Rusty and Audrey, theme parks and the whole nine [yards]."

But, what did come as a surprise was the star's confirmation of her bun in the oven.

"Last time I never commented on it and people just stalked me the entire time," she told People magazine of deciding to address her second pregnancy publicly. "So yes, it's happening, it's true. I tried to keep it a secret for as long as possible."

Not that she's any less excited the second-go-round. "When I found out I was overjoyed," she gushed, admitting she wasn't the only one. "Will is just thrilled -- we both are -- [because] we just wanted so badly for Olive to have a sibling.  So in some ways, it's really for her. So congratulations, Olive!"

When it comes to cravings, Barrymore reveals she's having quite a few.

"Oh my God, I'm eating everything!" she said. "I can't get enough of Chinese food. It's all I want to eat! I'm feeling very, very happy. Happy and healthy -- mentally and physically."

Sounds like the best of all worlds!
