Keira Knightley may be the most low-key celebrity bride ever.

Over the weekend, the 28-year-old "Pirates of the Caribbean" star married musician James Righton in southern France -- and it appears that she may have recycled her wedding dress.

That's right -- the simple, yet stylish, short, strapless tulle dress Knightley was seen wearing as she joyfully skipped out of her wedding ceremony while clutching the hand of her groom seems to be her something old. The gown appears to be the same one she wore to a pre-BAFTA party in 2008.

Of course, it wasn't just any dress. Her entire ensemble -- blush colored haute couture gown as well as the jacket and flats -- are all Chanel and were "designed specially by Karl Lagerfeld for Keira," a spokesperson for the label told "omg! Insider."

However, the spokesperson didn't mention when said dress was designed -- and when Knightley arrived at the Finch & Partners pre-BAFTA party on February 9, 2008, in London, she wore a dress that looked remarkably similar to her wedding dress. However, on that occasion, she accessorized it with black tights for the winter party.

If Knightley did rewear a dress from her closet -- a practice Kate Middleton and Michelle Obama have popularized -- it seems to fit in with the whole casual and relaxed vibe of the star's wedding.

The ceremony took place at the town hall in Mazan, a small village in Provence, on Saturday. The actress emerged from the building without a bouquet, but with a simple daisy chain of flowers in her hair. And there was no fancy chauffeured-driven car waiting for them either. The newlyweds drove off in a beat up Renault Clio. The reception was held at the Knightley family's vacation home nearby -- and some of the 50 or so guests were casually dressed in t-shirts, shorts, and flip-flops. Righton's band, The Klaxons, played at the reception.

In March, Knightley talked about her wedding, telling Marie Claire U.K., "We’re not really big-wedding types" -- and she wasn't kidding. However, while perhaps not fancy, their wedding seemed intimate, sweet, and just right for them.
