Brandi Glanville spent part of her weekend with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian and his new wife, LeAnn Rimes.
The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star was dining with her and Cibrian's sons, Mason, 10, and Jake, 5, when she unexpectedly encountered the couple at upscale sushi restaurant (and celeb hangout) Nobu in Malibu, California, on Saturday night.
While some reported that Glanville, 40, caused some serious fireworks at the popular eatery, confronting the lovebirds and causing a scene, Glanville's publicist insists that didn't happen.
"Brandi was having dinner with her kids, and coincidentally Eddie and LeAnn were at the same restaurant," Steve Honig tells omg!. "Everyone was nice to each other, and the kids got a kick out of running into their dad. That's all."
Both Nobu and a publicist for Rimes declined to comment.
Of course, it's not crazy to assume that the run-in was, at the very least, a little awkward. Glanville and Rimes, 30, have had a rocky relationship since Cibrian divorced Glanville following a highly publicized affair with Rimes in 2009. The women usually don't even interact when they're both at the same ballpark watching the boys play baseball.
In fact, Glanville and Rimes have publicly feuded over Twitter in the past, including just two months ago, when Rimes sent flowers to the mother of her stepsons on Mother's Day, and wasn't satisfied with her thank you.
This time, though, both ladies described a happy night at Nobu.
Just left Nobu Malibu with boys and friends, ran into boys dad.The kids love us all together so lets just stop all th BS. Xb
