"The Bachelorette" is known for drama, but that doesn't mean it can't lead to a Hollywood ending. On Saturday, former season 4 "Bachelorette" star Deanna Pappas and her husband, Stephen Stagliano, welcomed a healthy baby girl. (And yes, technically, they didn't get set up on the show, but they did meet at a party for "The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All," which is close enough.)
Stephen took to Twitter to share the good news.
Our little angel is here! She was born on Feb. 6th. Daddy now has two loves in his life! Thank you all for the love and support :)— Stephen Stagliano (@StephenStag) February 9, 2014
But he wasn't the only one who was overcome with happiness. The new mom re-tweeted her husband's message before adding one of her own.
Cant begin 2 explain the joy I have w/ my baby girl. Perfect husband & perfect baby. Im very lucky. Thank u all 4 the tweets! #fullheart— DeAnna Stagliano (@DeAnnaPappas) February 9, 2014
It has certainly been a long wait for the excited parents. They first announced they were expecting in August 2013 and revealed they were having a girl on September 14.
This is the first child for the reality star and the schoolteacher, who tied the knot in Palmetto, Georgia, back in October 2011. We'll have to wait and see what name they settled on, but in the meantime, we're going to file this one as a success story for the series. It seems like the only question left to ask is whether Juan Pablo is taking any notes.
