It's hard to believe it's been 10 years since Lindsay Lohan wore pink with the Plastics in "Mean Girls." But on Wednesday night, the 27-year-old reunited with her co-star, Daniel Franzese, who played her artsy friend Damien in the hit flick. The two bumped into each other at Bodega Negra at the Dream Hotel in New York and were quick to capture the moment.
LiLo posted the pic of the duo with the caption "@whatsupdanny #soquiche #werknyc." Daniel also posted a pic, writing, "Since you kids loved that last pic so much here's a sultry selfie #latergram from me and @lindsaylohan. #bodeganegra #WeGoGlenCoco #10yearNorthShoreReunion."
"The Insider" reached out to Daniel about the reunion, and he revealed that this actually isn't the first time the two have bumped into each other. "Lindsay and I accidentally sat near each other at the Marco Marco fashion show earlier this year and it was all smiles and great to see her," the 35-year-old gushed. "She looks amazing and is doing lovely."
But "The Canyons" star isn't the only cast mate he's kept in touch with over the years. Daniel told us, "I'm good friends with Lizzy Caplan for life. She is like family to me and I love seeing Amy Poehler, Lacey Chabert and Amanda Seyfried whenever we can."
Today Daniel is set to star in "Found" a new Broadway musical by Tony nominee Hunter Bell with music by Eli Bolin, and directed by Lee Overtree. He is also editing and directing his first feature documentary about Grammy winner Allee Willis.
And the rest of the "Mean Girls" cast has been staying busy the last 10 years as well! Former Plastic member Amanda Seyfried actually replaced Lindsay in the 2013 film "Lovelace," and she gained critical acclaim for her role as Cosette in the movie "Les Miserable."
Regina George, better known as Rachel McAdams, has starred in a slew of hit flicks, including Wood Allen's "Midnight in Paris" and the cult classic "Wedding Crashers."
