Could This Be the End of A&E’s ‘Duck Dynasty’?

The Robertson family is standing behind patriarch Phil Robertson after A&E put him on an indefinite hiatus from filming their hit show "Duck Dynasty" due to the antigay remarks he made in the January issue of GQ magazine.

In the statement issued on Thursday night, the family explained that it can't imagine continuing the show without Phil. But would the family members really walk away? The wives of the hit series sat down with "omg! Insider" co-anchor Thea Andrews back in November, before the controversy broke, and the women made it clear that the Robertson family is a united front, and they aren't afraid to pull the plug on the show if it gets between them. Korie told Thea, "If this show tears our family apart or hurts us in anyway, we want it all taken away. It's just not worth it."

Since the network made the decision to suspend Phil, it has had to beef up security at its New York headquarters after receiving death threats and suspicious packages by enraged fans. And as of Friday morning, more than 1.5 million people have liked the Boycott A&E until Phil Robertson Is Put Back on 'Duck Dynasty' Facebook page, which states, "This page is to show support for the freedom of speech of Americans. Unless Phil is reinstated to the show, we refuse to watch the A&E Channel!"

Check out the vid to hear how many people have signed the "I Stand With Phil" petition, and be sure to tune in to "omg! Insider" on TV tonight for all the latest in entertainment news.
