Tom Hanks is a grandpa — again!
His oldest son, Colin, and Colin's wife, publicist Samantha Bryant, have added a second daughter – a sister to 2-and-a-half-year-old Olivia Jane – to their brood.
"Ms. Charlotte Bryant Hanks has decided to join us," the 35-year-old actor told People. "She's as happy and healthy as we are overjoyed and tired.”
Hanks, who's appeared on "Mad Men" and "Dexter," married Bryant in May 2010.
He and Bryant only made it public that they were expecting in April when they attended the opening night of the elder Hanks’s Broadway show, "Lucky Guy."
While promoting the play, the senior Hanks, 56, revealed that instead of grandpa, the little ones will call him "Papou," the Greek word for grandfather. (Tom's wife, Rita Wilson, is Greek.)
"There's just something about being entertained by whatever the kid is doing, screaming … playing with a water bucket, pooping," he told "CBS This Morning" when asked what he loved about being a grandparent. "Whatever they do, there's entertainment to be had."
The two-time Oscar winner is pretty entertaining himself.
