Chris Brown is a sore loser … and now we have the proof!

After the “Don’t Wake Me Up” singer was beat out by Frank Ocean – who he allegedly punched on January 28 over a parking spot at a Los Angeles recording studio – in the Grammy’s Best Urban Contemporary category, he refused to stand up and applaud the winner as he walked to accept his award.

As cameras captured the Channel Orange singer as he approached the stage, Brown could be seen sitting in his seat … even though everyone else in the audience at Staples Center was standing and cheering. And although he can be seen clapping, it looks more like a golf clap, right?

According to body language expert Dr. Lillian Glass, the rude gesture “was a statement” to his enemy that he “isn’t quick to forgive.” Although he did move his hands in a clapping motion, she tells omg! that it seems more like this act was merely him giving in to the peer pressure from those around him. “He looked to the side as to not fully acknowledge Frank Ocean.” As for his right leg, Dr. Glass adds, "it means he is taking up more room and staking out his territorial claim as he crosses his leg in a wide stance."

A screen grab of the moment quickly circulated on Twitter with people calling out Brown for being a sore loser, along with hashtags like #douche and other words we can’t print.

Ocean announced on his Tumblr page on February 2 that he decided not to press any charges against Brown after the beat-down, during which he claims Brown hit him first after he refused to shake his hand. Ocean, who has admitted to once being in love with a man, also said that someone in Brown’s entourage called him a f****t during the scuffle.

“as a child i thought if someone jumped me it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man,” wrote Ocean in the post. “but as a man i am not a killer. i’m an artist and a modern person. i’ll choose sanity. no criminal charges. no civil lawsuit. forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. peace, albeit trite, is what i want in my short life. peace."
