We didn't say it.
The iconic, unfiltered Cher, 67, declared herself a big mouth — an opinionated big mouth, to be exact — after she gave comments ripping to shreds that much-debated Miley Cyrus performance from last month's MTV VMAs.
"I'm not old-fashioned," she told USA Today. "She could have come out naked, and if she'd just rocked the house, I would have said, 'You go, girl.' It just wasn't done well. She can't dance, her body looked like hell, the song wasn't great, one cheek was hanging out. And, chick, don't stick out your tongue if it's coated."
She offered a more blunt critique when dishing to E!.
"I don't give a s--t if she comes out naked," the "Turn Back Time" songstress said. "Just be better, do better."
"Maybe she's thrilled and delighted — everyone's talking about it," Cher continued. "And so, that's almost as good as it being great, you know. Especially kind of in this day and age. It doesn't make any difference if you're good. It just makes a difference if people are talking about it."

Perhaps she was in a bad mood when she gave that interviews, though, because she posted a string of tweets Wednesday reversing her position.
But by the end of her Twitter session, the "Mermaids" actress was again out of sorts because of people pointing out her grammatical errors.
"FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, GET YOUR FKNG PRIORITIES STRAIGHT ! PULL UP YOUR BIG GIRL G-STRING & SAY I CAN BEAR IT IF CHER CANT SPELL," she wrote.
Looks like she's already forgotten what she said about keeping her mouth shut …
