Here's something you don't hear everyday.
"X Factor" judge, media mogul, and daddy-to-be Simon Cowell put his own vocal skills to be judged by a large crowd for once … and with an unusual song choice, but it was all for a good cause.
At a charity event in Beverly Hills on Tuesday night, Haim Saban, the billionaire creator of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers franchise, offered to donate $1 million to the Friends of Israel Defense Forces if Cowell would sing along on the show's theme tune.
And when the 54-year-old reality star accepted, the crowd went crazy.
Halfway through the "Go Go Power Rangers" performance, however, Cowell offered to chip in $100,000 more if he was allowed to stop. Saban countered at $250,000 (to stop), and the crowd was put out of their misery.
You've gotta watch it yourself though.
So, what do you think of Simon's vocal chops — and, more importantly, do you think he'd make it far on his own talent shows?
