Beyonce is one busy woman.

Not content to rest of the laurels on the fanfare surrounding her upcoming Super Bowl appearance, the global music superstar was in Washington D.C. this week where she gave a stunning rendition of ”The Star-Spangled Banner” to close the Second Inauguration of President Barack Obama.

And Blue Ivy’s mom wasn’t going to leave anything to chance. She documented her rehearsal process by posting six new photos on her popular Tumblr blog.

One person who was certainly excited to hear Knowles was former President Jimmy Carter. When asked by TMZ at Reagan National airport if he was excited to hear the diva sing, he replied, “I really am ... I'm looking forward to seeing it.”

Reaction from celebrities online to Beyonce’s stellar performance was certainly all raves.

“wowowow Beyonce's performance of the national anthem was beautiful,” Russell Simmons tweeted.

“And THAT'S why she's the No1 performer in world music.....incredible!” wrote Piers Morgan.

“No one can touch Beyonce’s hair game. No one,” “Community” actress Yvette Nicole-Brown tweeted.

Sasha Fierce lived up to her own high fashion standards as well, rockin' an Emilio Pucci black velvet and chiffon beaded cutout long-sleeved gown from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection.

Onward to New Orleans!
